As part of the TerraLoop Ecosystem, Biomimicry Design Alliance is doing its part to keep materials out of the landfill.

We have taken heavy-duty, outdoor vinyl marketing banners from the Denver Zoo and upcycled them into duffel bags and fanny packs/cross-body bags. Each product is completely unique and based on whatever banners the Zoo produced, so we only have a few of each animal and once we run out, that’s it!

For every product sold, a portion of our proceeds will go towards animal conservation. And when you buy a duffel bag along with a cross-body bag, you are keeping approximately 15 square feet of vinyl out of the landfill.

About

TerraLoop is biomimicry on a systems level. There is no such thing as waste in nature. So TerraLoop is creating a digital ecosystem to keep materials out of the landfill by connecting businesses so that their “waste” can become another business’s materials.

Mile High Workshop’s mission is to create employment opportunities and provide job training for members of our community seeking to rebuild from addictions, homelessness, and incarceration. We envision a more prosperous city where barriers to employment are eliminated and every member of the community is empowered with dignity through meaningful work.
